NIKI AGUIRRE is a London based fiction writer, born in the United States to Ecuadorian parents. She studied English Literature at the University of Illinois and holds an MA in Creative Writing from the University of London.
Her debut collection of short fiction, 29 Ways to Drown was published in 2007 by Flipped Eye. She is the recipient of the Birkbeck Oustanding Achievement Award for Creative Fiction (2006) and a grant from the Arts Council of England (2007). Her short stories have been featured in Tell Tales, Mechanics' Institute Review, X-24: Unclassified, and LITRO Magazine. Niki is currently working on her first novel.
